  2. Thank you for this recipe! I made them a few days ago, and my parents and siblings loved them. I even made my own frosting for them! (Out of desperation, actually, because we were all out of canned frosting, but I did it!) My little brothers made this baking experience the most fun. They don’t like tea, so every time they asked me what I was doing I said that I was making Surprise Cupcakes. They were definitely surprised when they found out that I made them with tea. Thank you, again!

    I just made these and they’re lovely! I added a splash of vanilla extract to the batter, then iced the cupcakes with a vanilla and milk frosting to make them london fog-esque.
