Valentines day is coming up. Definitely the best part of this is that I get to bake pink and red things (my favorite colour combination) without people thinking I’m too strange. Win. These are some cupcakes I made last year roundabout this time, you can go have a look at them here.

Did you know that in Japan it’s the other way around? Women give chocolate to men! (Men reciprocate a month later on so-called White Day.) It’s not romantic: you’re supposed to give chocolate to your father and brothers and colleagues as well as your beloved.
The male teachers at my school get tons of chocolate from their female students, and then the female teachers eat it! :D
