BBQ Pulled Pork Pizza Recipe
This easy appetizer pizza is a great way to use the leftovers from your slow cooker pulled pork. You can add any extra toppings to customize.
Use refrigerated pizza dough and prepared barbequed pulled pork to make a delicious pizza in minutes, topped with dill pickles and mozzarella cheese.
We have had this pizza twice in two years and it was given 5 stars by my family each time. I chopped up BBQ pork chops that we grilled the day before as the topping of this pizza. I put down a layer of BBQ sauce first on the crust, then I added pineapple to the mix as well as colored peppers and dill pickles. I made my pizza dough in the breadmaker beforehand. I get best results when I use a cookie sheet and bake pizza at 500 degrees for about 15 minutes. This makes the crust crunchy. Loved it. Will make again.
Used leftover pulled pork. It was a little dry, so next time I think I'll add a layer of BBQ sauce on the crust. Good, easy recipe!
Delicious. Added bbq sauce as others had recommended. and jalapeños. Do not skip the pickles!
These pulled pork recipes prove there's so much more to it than amazing sandwiches. We're talking about pulled pork pizza, nachos, pulled pork lasagna, soup, stew, and much more.
Pretty tasty! I added shredded mozzarella on top. Even better cold the next day!
I was looking for an alternative to use left over pulled pork. Amazing! I made the pizza dough with recipe suggestion on the back of the "pizza yeast" package. The dough made a 16" pizza; the amount of ingredients used was increased. Sauteed the onion and peppers together on the stove (in small amount of pork juices) until soft, then added the pulled pork, warmed. I kept the mixture on the dry side. Added some mozzarella cheese, baked for 16 minutes. Kids and husband loved it!
