Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Scramble - Review by Jillian - ...
Simply delicious! I LOVE scrambled eggs for breakfast especially on a Sunday! It's a great way to start the day and when you add in some sausage and cheese....well it's downright tasty. I usually use milk or a bit of half and half to achieve fluffy scrambled eggs, but this was recipe called for a bit too much. I used a bit less than 1/2 cup vs. 3/4 cup. I also like to add just pinch of onion and garlic powders plus a little salt and pepper. I used Cheddar cheese and served it with whole grain toast and "Home-Fried Potatoes" from this site. Next time, I might place every thing inside a warrm tortilla for a great breakfast wrap!
I cut the recipe in half and to make it a little eaiser I used some microwave sausage patties. I added a little garlic powder to the eggs. Once you spoon everything into the pita, just add a little cheese and let it melt.
This is a tasty scramble of scrambled eggs, cheese, and pieces of sausage. Great for a Sunday morning family breakfast! You may use as much of whatever type of cheese you prefer for this recipe.
A variety of veggies combined with eggs make a great start to the day.
Breakfast burritos are awesome and pretty much contain every food group! They can be made ahead of time and are perfect for on the go. I cut the recipe way back because I didn't need quite that many and made my own taco seasoning. I added some crumbed bacon and diced green pepper plus a mix of cheddar and jack cheeses. You can add pretty much anything you want or have on hand because once you combine meat, scrambled eggs and cheese in a warm tortilla it's bound to be good. All you need is a side of salsa, sour cream, a little tabaso or cholula and you're in breakfast heaven!
Ham, green onions, and hash browns baked with spicy pepperjack cheese make up this easy make-ahead breakfast dish.
A complete breakfast that you can carry in your hand! Eggs, cheese, sausage and green onion are sandwiched in an English muffin.
